He had the feeling, that she noticed how he tried to change topic, but she let it go. And Hiroki appreciated that. He had to be careful when speaking with adults and this one seemed really sharp. When he was asked how he got here he just shrugged innocently. "Hey, I am local... I have my ways..." he just said like it was no big deal. There was also no reason to tell her the truth. He wasn't lying, he had his ways. And not all of them including him flying. "Don't even start me on this. I am living in one of the biggest cities in the entire world and nobody is capable of getting us a good internet connection." he grunted. It was something that bothered him. "You certainly don't seem local... so what brought you here, if I may ask?" he finally gathered enough courage to ask something

Becky shrugged and smiled at Hiroki's comment "Fair enough, can't blame me for asking~"
She had to stifle a laugh about the internet connection, she just appreciated the fact that someone felt her pain when it came to actually trying to use electronics
"Eh, I felt like getting out of the big city honestly...I don't mind being there, but every so often I need some time away from the place. That's why I like coming out to places like this. It's nice to see how history looked and how it could possibly advance. Plus it makes for good pictures!"
Becky smiled happily as she whipped out her phone and took a few pictures, snapping images that she could easily post to her respective social media sites when she got back home

"Getting out of city I get... but why here? I mean... there may be even more people than in the city... at least in really small and narrow area. I think that if you want to be alone here you have to come after midnight... and before 6 in the morning." there were times where this place was quite lonely, but not very many. "I guess in my mind "getting out of city" means some lonely retreat in the middle of nowhere... in forest or on a mountain? Perhaps near some lake?" perhaps it was too stereotypical, but it sounded lovely. Getting away from all the people, having time to think... preferably with ultra fast and stable internet connection. He didn't mind chopping wood so he could make a campfire to heat up some food if he could go online afterwards... He shrugged "But I guess that's just me..."

Becky shrugged and smiled, not quite sure how to answer but...he had a fair point. It was a bit of an obscure reason
"It's a bit of an excuse to at least see things I don't always go to whenever I'm in the big city. There's at least...not as MANY people as I could be around back home."
She looked over at Hiroki, sitting down on top of some of the wall where there wasn't that many people around
"That's totally understandable honestly. Some people have different tastes of trying to spend time 'out of the city'. Nothing wrong with going out to the more rural parts of the world. I've always enjoyed...I enjoy cabins on the mountain personally. Easy to not deal with so many people."

Hiroki came here for the express purpose to train his movements among a huge crowd of people, but he was still annoyed of how many peoples were actually here. Every now and then someone bumped into him or went to close past him. When his companion sat on the wall he was a bit worried for a moment, but she probably knew what she was doing. "Be careful, someone might bump into you and... well it's quite a fall..." it would be incredibly easy to hurt oneself. Or get killed. Instead of heeding his own warning he joined her. After all he didn't really need to worry about falling. "I surely wouldn't want to patrol this thing... back in the days." his mind wandered a bit. Now thousands of people were patrolling it every single day and yet no attack was coming. What would the original builders think about it...

Becky smiled calmly as she sat down on the edge, her feet dangling as she looked out at the city. It was an interesting sight to say the least, being able to see people from such a far distance. She couldn't help but nod in agreement as she listened to Hiroki's mind wander off to who knows what
"I suppose you're right...I don't know if I would want to either. You gotta wonder how easily they could have defended it anyway...you think there might have been like, wars between people with super abilities and such?"
She turned around, her attention once again on Hiroki. It was a curious concept really, did people take their powers to war or did they just keep it secret no matter what?

"There are plenty of stories about mages, demigods and enchanted artefacts that are considered just legends. Perhaps the gods of old were the first super humans. Perhaps Zeus or Ao Kuang or Merlin had super powers... and those people just killed themselves off? Or got killed by "regular" humans in fear?" he shrugged. It would probably be a nonsense without actual super humans walking the Earth right now. "Or perhaps they just kept a low profile until super powers got more usual again?" that was certainly a possibility. A theory was already forming in his head - it started with a war of superhumans. Both sides suffered terribly in the conflict. Until humans caught in the middle lost their temper and brutally slaughtered both weakened sides. The rest of super humans decided to hide until the day they could return. It was certainly in human nature to kill anything they didn't understand.

"Any of those are entirely possible...I'd have to do some research for sure to find out."
Becky shrugged as well, taking that into account. It was part of why she hated the feelings that were out there for some super humans. No one wanted them on their side unless they were a superstar in the first place
"Say, I feel like asking, how are you gonna get back home? We can't stay up here forever, as tempting as it is...what with this pretty view and all."
She giggled as she hopped off of the wall, walking back over to Hiroki. She quickly took a minute to send another photo of the view to Cinder, smiling to herself as she did "There we go~"

I will fly of course... well... that was what he thought, not something he would say. "As I said I am living nearby, so I will run. It isn't far... and I since I am sitting now, instead of running I could use some more cardio..." he said. He really should train more than this. "Seems like you can't avoid to take few souvenirs yourself." he smirked a bit. He didn't meant it as an insult, he would take photoes too if he were somewhere new. And it was far better than buying overpriced fridge magnets or stupid t-shirts. Not to mention that taking photos was art in it's own right. "Do you think it's time to leave?" he asked. He could stay as long as he wanted, but it was getting a bit late and since he wasn't training anyway there was no real reason to stay at this place.

"Cardio's always good, nothing wrong with a little bit of exercise~"
Becky smiled and blushed a tiny bit, realizing what he was referring to
"W-well my souvenirs are um...I have a reason for taking them in the first place. Plus I'm trying to practice anyway."
She sighed and shrugged, walking up to Hiroki and smiling
"Admittedly as fun as the conversation has been, I should get going sooner than later. But...hey, I get the feeling we'll run into each other again in the future. If nothing else I could always give you a way to talk to me? You seem like a pretty good person!"
No matter...how things went, honestly, Viral could always appreciate the social contact. Even if it was from someone she still wasn't sure how long she'd keep around

"I have nothing against taking photos... and I don't believe there are people who come to the wall and not take any photos. And there are many places with awesome view... though given it's length it would be stranger if there weren't few..." he had to laugh a bit. "One never know... a world is a bit place. But I would like to think so. I won't also say "no" to some way to talk in the future... I know a lot about this area, including some nice places to takes photos off of from..." he pointed. Hiroki wasn't the most social person ever, but it was pleasant to talk to someone every now and then. Plus there was something... strange about this person. Nothing he could put his fingers on, but still... it might as well been the fact, that she was that chatty with a complete stranger... that was unusual.

Becky shrugged and smiled more, she couldn't help but agree
"Photos are good with the views like that..and yeah, I've seen photos from all SORTS of parts of this place. Oh and uh..keep let me know next time we see each other about those photo spots then."
She started to walk off before looking back at Hiroki
"Cause who knows? They might just go Viral sometime. Anyways, I gotta run, I'll see you later!"
Becky started walking the other direction, she could remember an exit on the stairs that would get her back to the main internet hub she had arrived at. It was a lot easier than taking the subway or a taxi at this rate anyway, what was the point when you could travel across wifi?
