It was time... The final battle was about to happen. But before I tell you about the final battle, let me tell you something. I was in a massive castle, but it was the tyrant, Damian's castle. He wanted to kill my family and rule over our realm for himself and enslave our people. After killing many strong monsters and walking up many stairs, some spiraling, I was at a massive locked door, painted black. I could sense the evil from behind it. I took out a big key and unlocked the door. I did wonder why he locked himself in there. He knew I was coming. Was he scared? Was he trying to buy time? I will never know, but before I stepped through that door, I knew the goddesses were on my side.
The room I walked into had a red carpet leading to an organ at the opposite side of the room. There were also stained glass windows with dark grey walls. The floor was black, yet polished. Nobody was there, surprisingly. Where was he? He was supposed to be there, wasn't he? Or was this all an elaborate trap?
It was before long until I heard a deep cackling. It echoed around the room, but I still saw nobody. I knew this was Damian. Suddenly, he materialized right in front of me. The menace reveals himself to me at last. He looked the same as he always did. Black hair casting a shadow over his left eye, which has red irises. He donned a black robe with a red dragon head on the back. That was expected of him though. He wore red underneath all that. He looked at me, with a grimacing smirk.
"At long last, the prince and righteous hero arrives at last. Well, prepare to die, boy. When you are dead, your parents are next, then I will rule over this realm. You can try to stop me, but you will ultimately fail."
He started to float two feet into the air. He raised his right arm as a small, dark red ball of energy was forming in his hand. I unsheathed Arclight, ready for the final battle. He hurled the ball of energy at me, but I swung my sword at it and it flew right back to him. Damian took out a scepter and hit it back at me. I hit it back, as the energy ball was gaining some momentum.
After a while, Damian was unable to return the sphere of energy to me. It struck him and a red glow surrounded his body as he fell to the ground. He was on one knee as his head was bowed downwards. His teeth were grit. He was in pain. I slashed at him at least five times as he screamed in pain. His black blood formed a small puddle around him. However, he still wasn't finished. He got back to his feet, but his scepter dissipated into tiny particles.
"You made a fatal mistake, child. You will die, right here, right now!"
He snapped as two greatswords appeared in his hands. A ring of purple fire also appeared around us. Damian cackled more. He slashed at me with one sword as I blocked with Arclight. He swung the other one at me as I jumped backwards to avoid it. Damian attemped a scissor slash, but I ducked, rolled around him, and slashed his back. He turned around and kicked me right in the stomach, sending me close to the ring of fire. I winced in pain as he approached me, ready to finish me off with his swords, but I rolled out of the way as I slashed his legs. He fell, but got back up seconds later. Will this man ever die? He slashed more and more, eventually slicing open my left shoulder. The wound wasn't too deep, but it really hurt. I grit my teeth and continued to fight, eventually catching him off guard and slashing again. He went down. I kept slashing and slashing, but it was doing nothing to hurt him. A dark aura was surrounding Damian as his wounds were healing. At this rate, the battle would never end.
While he was slowly recovering, I took out five orbs, their colors were different from one another. Green, red, blue, purple, yellow. These orbs contained the powers of our chosen Guardians. The orbs levitated and formed a circle around Damian. Well, it was more like a pentagon. Anyways, the orbs cast a thin beam of light upon Damian. The beams were the same colors as the orbs they belonged to. This broke Damian's aura. Now was the time to strike! I ran at him, jumped through the middle of the formation of the orbs, and stabbed down on his skull with Arclight. He screamed as a dark red ball of light left his body, which went limp afterwards. His body vanished as the ball of light tried to ascend into the heavens.
At that moment I was sure that this was Damian's soul. I commanded the orbs to restrain and banish his soul to the Underworld. The orbs cast their beams on his soul as a fiery red portal appeared on the ground as the beams turned into chains which wrapped around his soul and pulled it into the portal. After it had finally passed through it, the portal closed and the chains vanished too.
I wiped the sweat off of my forehead. I was really exhausted. I looked up and the orbs flew away in a flash of light that was their respective colors. They were gone in an instant.
Just when I thought I could relax, the ground below me trembled. The floor was splitting at my feet. I ran for the stairs as debris fell as the castle crumbled. At the exit, a large chunk of debris, the size of a bowling ball, hit me atop the head. I fell to the ground, as I felt myself losing consciousness. I crawled my way to the exit, slowly. Debris nearly hit me again. I actually managed to get out of there before the entire castle collapsed. I was really grateful. Then everything went dark as I lost consciousness.
When I woke up, I was home at our palace. My parents welcomed me back from my adventure, also congratulating me. My mother told me that there will be a grand celebration tomorrow to my victory against the tyrant, Damian.
