Viral was taking a bit of an off-day from all of her rebel activity. After going on a constant run of DJ gigs, causing chaos where she could, and just having fun. Now though, she was taking time to look around China and get used to parts of the country that she hadn't been to before. In this case, it was the outer suburbs of Beijing and parts of the Great Wall of China.
"Finally getting a chance to come to this place...this is great!"
Viral smiled to herself as she pulled out her phone, taking a few pictures as she walked along the old structure. She knew about the Wall, but had never gotten the chance to see it up close. It was still listed as one of the great "wonders" of the world, even if some of the older sites have succumbed to time. She hummed to herself as she quickly took a selfie and sent it to a special someone back home
"Enjoying the time up here at the Wall, wish you could be here. Maybe next time we can come together without anything keeping us apart again. Talk to you whenever I get back in town." Viral then hit send as she sat down on the railing, looking out at the city.
"Not too bad...could be a place to come back to at some point."
Viral smiled to herself as she looked around. Tourists were everywhere, so much technology that she could influence if she ever got the chance. The Wall had gotten some upgrades lately to stay up to date with the times but people still dug up artifacts every so often or found hidden clues in towers that were still up. The Great Wall of China was...well, still great regardless of who you asked.

Running on Great wall was a bad idea. It really was. The place was ancient and hardly made for running. Not to mention there were people everywhere. Sometime all a person could do was slowly walk step by step. So why was Hiroki running here? It was simple - a hero had to be able to go where he needed even when the streets were full of people. And he couldn't just charge through them! It was basically a training. Hiroki was very agile and quick on his feet, quite capable of slipping through masses of people, most of the time. But this wasn't easy. He was trying to manage his breathing while watching around and avoiding people and running as fast as possible at the same time. It was a disaster waiting to happen. The young teenager slipped past some fat tourist almost knocking some kid down. "Sorry..." he yelled behind himself, slipping his attention for a single moment. Just enough time not to notice some young lady who was walking directly towards him...

Becky hopped off of her section of the wall, starting to move once again to check out the rest of the place when she heard the commotion.
"Wah!" Becky looked up from her phone as she ran right into Hiroki. The two of them fell down apart from each other as some of the other tourists looked at them in slight confusion and surprise. This was always a peaceful place, not much ever happened in terms of commotion and all that. She quickly scrambled back to her feet, helping him up
"Sorry about that! I-I didn't see you there..you alright? Not hurt or anything?"
Becky had her wild party look on her, course she ALWAYS did, but she had a bit of a caring expression underneath all of the craziness that she had on her.
"I must've gotten distracted by my phone by accident. Um...why were you running, if I may ask? Are...you alright?"
She was genuinely a bit confused and curious, couldn't hurt to get all of the questions out of the way, right?

It was too late to do anything. He crushed into this person and fell down with a loud "thud". Luckily he just bumped his head a bit and was otherwise uninjured. The young redhead got quickly back on his feet. Some people were reacting with a confusion, but he didn't mind them at all. He was opening his mouth to apologise, but the lady was faster. "No, this was entirely my fault... I was running and I stopped paying attention for a moment, don't worry, I am perfectly fine... a...re you?" he asked. This was indeed a huge error on his part. Fortunately nothing serious happen, but he had to learn to pay attention to even the smallest details. If this was a fight he might've burn this lady... or worse. "Oh... why was I running? Well... I was..." he was training, but he probably shouldn't say that. "... I hate this slow walking in a crowd. I thought I was good enough to avoid all the people... apparently I wasn't... I am so sorry" he said with an apology.

"You're fine. Apology accepted, don't worry."
Viral smiled softly as she helped him up. She made sure nothing bad had happened to Scampfire before sighing
"I understand..it can be hard to get through all of these people. That's why I tend to travel by myself and take whatever route has the least amount possible. My name's Becky, by the way."
She laughed nervously, not wanting to give away who she really was to this new person. She brushed herself off, picking up her bag of stuff for the day. She took a moment to look Hiroki over, slowly but surely taking mental notes of him. Didn't look like too much of a threat just in case..she could tell that he was trying to hold something back though but other than that nothing was out of the sort with him. Probably wasn't much of a threat
"So..what brought you to this part of the Wall? Personally I wanted to explore and get down to history a little bit more. This place is so fascinating!"

Hiroki let the stranger help him up, nodding as a thanks. He was glad, that except for small faux pas nothing terrible happened. She also introduced herself as "Becky". It would be impolite not to introduce himself right back. "Oh, nice to meet you. I am Hiroki." it wasn't probably the best idea to share his family name with a stranger. But Becky seemed nice. Most people would probably yell at him or scold him some fierce. When she asked him why he was here he already had his answer prepared. "Oh... well I am part Chinese, so it's part of my cultural heritage. It would be a bit shame if I didn't see it, right?" he lied openly.

"Nice to meet you too, Hiroki."
Becky smiled, Hiroki seemed like a fairly nice guy for the most part. She probably didn't need to worry about anything.
"Oooh..fair enough then. Sorry if that was a rude question."
If he was lying, she didn't seem to be that aware of it. Becky felt a bit embarrassed for asking a question that was potentially a bit sensitive.
"Well..would you want to maybe hang out some? I got nothing better to do if you don't."
She shrugged and smiled softly, she didn't mind hanging out with him if he was okay with it. And hey, who knows? She could get someone who would be a new ally in the future. The more allies the merrier, after all~

"Oh no, the question was fine. This is some piece of engineering, right? Hundreds of years old and still being the biggest man made thing on this planet... that's impressive, isn't it?" he asked. He wasn't lying about this. The wall was indeed an impressive sight and something he had deep appreciation for. "It's hard to imagine people building this without modern technology... or super powers." he said. He was a big super hero fanboy and he didn't even try conceal the fact. After all it was pretty normal. Especially nowadays. "Oh... sure, why not?" he was a bit surprised by the offer, but he was tired of training and it might be nice to speak with someone for a moment.

"It really is..I'm surprised no one has been able to top this thing lately. You'd think someone could with the money some guys make nowadays."
Becky nodded in agreement, it was hard to top the architecture that the Wall had no matter what people said as the years went on
"Yeah...kinda wonder if there may have been like a hidden super back in the day. Would've probably helped out in the construction y'know?"
She giggled and smiled, enjoying the thought that people with powers existed back in time.
"Awesome! Wanna just walk along the wall and take in the scene? There's plenty of wall to look around...ooh, plus the gift shops! I love checking out the gift shops!~"

Hiroki shrugged. Construction development wasn't his are of expertise at all. He could only imagine that nobody had any use for a structure that giant nowadays. Some structures were certainly impressive, but nothing so big was ever built ever. Not even close. "Ancient superheroes? Now that's a good idea for a storyline... I might work on that. Though it wouldn't be surprising. There are, after all, stories about gods, demigods, heroes and wizards all over history... and some of them had some pretty neat super powers. Perhaps one day someone will be born with power to see the past..." he said. There were enough strange powers for this to be possible. "We can just walk, but be careful... most of these gifts shops just sell overpriced garbage posing as charms." it wasn't all that surprising for anybody, really.

Becky smiled and nodded, looking over at Hiroki with interest
"Yeah..it's entirely possible. Also, work on it? Do you write or something?"
She was genuinely curious. With all the time that was done on her music and parties she never really took much time to read books or anything like that. She was more of a...read graphic novels online kind of girl than anything.
"Oh gods yeah. It's amazing what some of these people try to pass off as charms nowadays. It gets ridiculous."
Becky had seen the various auction sites, or at least what people talk about selling. With what she'd be able to do, it gets pathetic when people try to pass off something they could get at the local department store as something that was however many thousand of years ago old enough to sound good for the idiot tourists.

Hiroki, once again, shrugged. It was probably his reaction to everything. "Well I dabble a bit with hero stories on the internet. And this seems like an interesting concept. Usually just short stories..." he admitted. He had few ongoing ones, but most were pretty bad. He wasn't really a good writer, but he had deep passion about super heroes stories. After all he was running on Great wall just to improve his own changes of becoming one of them... eventually. "But it sells... otherwise they wouldn't sell it. I guess tourists buy every piece of crap just to show others... or something like that." the wall had it all. Souvenirs shops as well as those people who will quickly draw your portrait for abhorrent prices. "The further from great monuments the cheaper and more authentic the charms and knick-knacks. Then again you won't get a t-shirt with the wall there..." he said as they walk pass a family adored with matching "Great wall" shirts...

Becky looked a bit curious but she smiled, listening to Hiroki
"Oooh, really? Where do you put your stories out? I might have read one of them before!"
Considering that the girl pretty much spent most of her time on the Internet, there was a very real possibility she found Hiroki's writing and just didn't know it.
"That's true..people will do anything to make a quick buck here. The tourists are always too obsessed with getting the good stuff and not actually looking at what's quality."
She sighed in frustration, following Hiroki as they walked past the "Great Wall" family
"I guess the thing is is that people rely on popularity to..visit stuff. Really if you think about it, that can apply to more things than just tourism sites"

The young man's face got a bit red for a moment. He was probably a bit ashamed to share the address of his stories. He wasn't very good at writing and he knew it. There was another reason - he couldn't resist to add a character, that was pretty much a stand in for himself. "I guess when they cross half the world to see something the money for few souvenirs is pretty low in comparison." he quickly caught on her second subject to avoid talking about his writings. He wasn't quite sure what did she suggest about it applying too more things that tourism sites. Though it was the truth that even among superheroes the popularity was a big part of the deal... there were heroes who were really powerful, but not really all that popular amongst people.

Becky giggled when she saw his face go red, smiling softly as she nodded
"People will do anything to make sure that they have enough memories. That's probably why they get the souvenirs they want."
She hummed to herself, checking her phone for a minute and sending another text to someone before looking back up at Hiroki
"So I feel like asking, how'd you get here if you came by yourself? Just wondering."
She herself had managed to use some of the local internet cafes to get to the streets by the Wall but she wasn't going to mention that. No sense in blowing her cover after all.
"Kinda wish the cell phone connection here was a bit better...would make things so much easier in talking to people. I have a few friends I'm keeping updated about things over here."
