Name: Ivan Petrov
Alias: Red Ivan
Gender: Male
Age: 50
Affiliation: Rebels
Physical Appearance: A 7 foot Russian white male from Siberia who is pale, he weighs 16 stone and wears it quite well, his red jacket hiding an aged chest with a scar going from his left shoulder to bottom right rib, he has a beret covering a scar on his forehead, from a bullet he took during his days as a KGB agent. there is no obvious body fat. He wears brown trousers that hide a stab wound above his kneecap. When he is sane, he wears a suit and shades from his KGB days. He has a large chin and nose, with eyes hidden by the shade the beret creates when he is wearing it. With a face that is almost always in an angry look, only breaking when he goes into a rampage, even then, it only gets angrier, his eyes are brown, and in an oval shape. He is completely bald under his beret, with no facial hair. He has 22 inch muscles, and shows age in his face and body, it looks clearly aged and wrinkled, but he is good for posture and commonly stands with a straight back.
Personality: Ivan's personality has been deeply moulded by his betrayal, feeling incredibly confused with his beliefs. Believing that Capitalist societies were corrupt and needed to be destroyed for the freedom of the proletariat, however his betrayal has made him realize that there is no true communist society, and this drove him mad with rage. He feels betrayed by the world and desires to destroy it. Luckily for Ivan, the mental endurance Ivan received during his KGB days allows him to keep his mind in check, but if he gets a bit too angry and loses control, he will revert to this personality and go on a rampage, however it is difficult for him to lose control. He acts like a very stern, serious person, he is very difficult to befriend as he sees friends as partners to leave after a job, this links back to his betrayal. He enjoyed his work as a KGB agent, not particularly enjoying the murder and torture, but he continued with his work in order to cause a Communist take over of the world. In his spare time, he trains his combat skills, maintaining his equipment, taking odd VIP protection jobs and assassinations in order to hone his old KGB skills and keep in shape. He is a very serious person who does not like people that joke around while on the job.
History: Ivan was born in 1979, with his family living in the snows of Siberia, having to live from hunting wolves and other animals, and collecting fire wood, with his siblings, both 3 years older than him. One day when out hunting with his brothers at the age of nine. Soviet authorities came to his home. With the intention of relocating his family to the large town of Sverdlovsk. He was amazed with the Soviet authorities and their clean uniforms and order about them, their serious look and professional take on their job. When he arrived at Sverdlovsk he was amazed by the civilization there, he became top of his class in Soviet schools, taking in all of the Soviet propaganda and deeply believing in it. He was incredibly prideful about the Soviet Union, believing that it was the true communist society, and all capitalist societies are corrupt and need to be destroyed. When the metatanium experiments went wrong and coated the countryside, his town was completely ruined by it, with everyone he knew dying, and monsters roaming the streets. Ivan managed to escape the carnage by retreating out of his house, tears streaming down his face the whole time, he stopped in the street when he saw a Soviet tank in front of him. Ivan stopped dead, terrified they would think he was one of them, The hatch opened up and the tank man told Ivan to hop in. Just after he did, the machine gun started blaring and the tank man comforted Ivan, telling him his name was Anatoly, and asking if any of his family survived, Ivan stayed silent and Anatoly had his answer. Seconds later, the tank is thrown backwards and onto its back, Anatoly is thrown onto his back, with a loud crack and a yell to be heard. Ivan is thrown at a high speed to the other side of the tank with the rest of the crew, Ivan stood up almost undamaged while the rest of the crew doesn't move, either unconscious or dead. Immediately after Ivan stands up, the bottom of the tank is ripped off and a large monster steps in, a beast with claws as long as a humans arm, two heads and odd meat bags extending off his body. He began to shamble towards Ivan, his claws scratching the inner walls of the tank, moments before pouncing onto Ivan, Ivan see's the monster in mid air in his head, instinctively, he dives to the side exactly at the right time to evade the monster, Ivan stands up and turns around to see the monster with his claws stuck into the tank wall, Ivan scrambles around for a weapon, while doing this, Ivan gets another sight in his head, one of the monster breaking free of the tank and slashing at him. Again he instinctively dodges the swing perfectly. Anatoly watched the engagement, watching how Ivan seamlessly dodged the monsters attacks, until Ivan stopped dead, screaming in pain and clutching his head, there were no visible wounds, but Ivan was in a terrible pain. The monster was about to deliver the killing blow before Anatoly put nine rounds into the monsters back. The monster collapsed in front of Ivan, who was in a ball on the floor, still screaming in pain, on the edge of passing out. Anatoly ran out of the tank seeing the clean up operation being successful, he went to grab Ivan and bring him to the medical tent behind the lines, Anatoly picked up Ivan with one arm and slung him over his shoulder.
After the event, Anatoly reported Ivan's powers to his officer, after a week Ivan was visited by two KGB agents in his orphanage in Moscow, they told him they had some questions. He was brought to a secluded facility outside Moscow where they tested his possible powers, they tested his precognition by making him run through obstacle courses with live fire. While risky, this was a revolutionary development in the Metatanium experiments and they were willing to do anything to make them succeed. Ivan passed them all with flying colours. Seeing his success, Ivan was inducted into the KGB at the age of 10. They put him through mental endurance training in order to allow him to use his powers for longer, and control when to use his precognition. The KGB were training him to become a field agent for two years, in the ailing Soviet Union there were many assassination attempts to be stopped, independence movements that needed to be put down, and information to be taken. However, the Soviet Union collapsed and the project was promptly shut down, and the KGB disbanded. When the order arrived to the facility Ivan was in, no one in the facility wanted to submit to the order. The agents massively accelerated Ivan's training. Giving him field tests, accompanied by KGB agents, shooting at civilians pretending they were officers. It took the fledgling Russian Federation a week to respond. Sending ten army divisions to the facility, completely levelling it, Ivan only managed to escape as he got a flash and he hurried to get a vehicle and drive out, in the distance he saw the facility being destroyed, another life of his being destroyed, his ideals burning.
His third life had began, Ivan began to drive to his old home in Siberia, passing through the town of Krasnoyarsk. There was no law in the area, the Russian Federation has yet to establish control. He only stopped when he saw a familiar face, Anatoly was there. They spoke for hours, telling each other how they ended up where they were, Ivan mentioned his plan of escaping to Siberia, Anatoly warned him that they were already there waiting for him, and advised to sneak across the border into China. Anatoly offered Ivan his rifle and army surplus gear, Ivan graciously accepted and retreated across the border to China. Ivan's life in China was tough. He was only twelve when he arrived in Beijing, it was all so alien. He was unable to understand anyone, the buildings were so colourful, everything was. Ivan hated it, to him it showed the hedonism inherent in Capitalism, he considered entering an orphanage, but if he did he could not hide his rifle, the newly named Orgburo. Ivan made no effort to understand Chinese as he began to live homelessly, sleeping in alleyways and carrying around his rifle in its case, swapping between his KGB suit and army surplus gear. This went on for eight years before Ivan recognized a fellow KGB agent, the agent had made a living in China working for the local gangsters, as an assassin or interrogator. Ivan met with these gangsters and was sent on a test run to assassinate a Police Captain who was unwilling to be bribed. It took him a day of scouting, but he came back with the Captain's bloody badge. Ever since then, he has been doing assassination jobs for the various gangs around Beijing.
Power: Precognition, the ability to see things before they happen, at least two seconds ahead. However, if his mind is at rest, not concentrating or thinking of anything, or doing anything even standing, it can be ten seconds ahead.
Drawback: If he uses his power more than 5 times in a short period, he will suffer debilitating headaches, nosebleeds, that will eventually lead to unconsciousness if he keeps using it. The more he uses it, the more strained his brain gets, and that makes the power harder to control, which will speed up his symptoms. In the thick of combat, he can hardly use the power, as his brain is very stressed, he can use it two times at best. Ivan cannot see someone's movements if they change their mind on what they are going to do, he only can view that path, if they happen to change their mind, then he is blind to that path. This takes an effect on Ivan's mind as he cannot easily tell which choice is his world, he feels like he is sometimes out of sync with the real world.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Endurable, both mentally and physically. Skilled with rifles, can speak all Soviet Bloc languages. He is very strong. He is also very skilled in combat with his hands, excellent survival skills. If he gets too angry, he will lose control of his mind and go into a rage filled state, until he either calms down or is incapacitated.
Can barely speak Chinese. Very hard to talk to. Very suspicious of people who want to get to know him. Despises Capitalist governments, and just governments in general. Which is unfortunate, because he is in China.
Likes/Dislikes: Communism, his rifle. Training his fitness, and shooting skills. Enjoys reading Lenin's biography, and Karl Marx' Communist Manifesto. Enjoys meals made by himself, such as wolf. Despises people who are not serious on the job. Despises the Capitalist system, and all ideologies that are not Marxism-Leninism.
Fears: His greatest fear by far, is the fear of betrayal. If he is ever betrayed again, by someone he truly trusts, his mind may completely break. Never returning to its original sane state.
