Ivan was in the perfect position to go for Jinping as soon as he was vulnerable, near the edge of the crowd, he was able to survey the action. Since he was no longer making use of his precognition, he was seeing everything as everybody else was. Safe to say, this sickly Superstar seemed useless without his shield ability. Far too weak to fight in hand to hand, not fast enough to dodge the scrap metal flying towards him. The other Superstar who revealed herself was the one who took out his eye. OH boy he was not getting involved on the side of the law now, doesn't matter how much they could possibly pay him. While he was analysing the situation, the hairs on the back of his neck stood up, like that weird feeling you get when someone is staring at you. Ivan span around to see a man looking down at his phone. Was he the one staring? He span back around and scanned the crowd looking for someone staring. Did someone recognize him? Ivan felt a rising panic, before shaking his head ridding the feeling from his body and just as he finished doing so he had finally noticed the shield around Jinping dissipate, the person in question now crawling off the stage to the security detail.
Ivan began to scan his surroundings for anywhere he could hide his suitcase, he spotted a nearby bench he could slide it under, and so, he quickly popped it open, assembled his rifle, took 3 10 round magazines and slid his suitcase along the floor, scarring it with loose stones, after it had slid near enough to where Ivan had meant for it to go. He quickly dashed from the crowd now, pushing his sunglasses up his face, equipping his gloves from his pockets, and he began using his precognition ready to sense and stop exactly where bullets from the security were going to come from. Due to the element of surprise, Ivan managed to clear the security around Jinping, by taking down the two men that were grabbing Jinping, trying to get him up and behind the security line with two shots to their very exposed necks, and he quickly span the barrel of his rifle to the nearby security that noticed their colleagues drop, and the thunderous crack of a Dragunov rifle, 3 more shots and they were down. Safe to say, that would draw attention, but Ivan was planning to just get out of there now, not get absorbed into the big group fight going on in the centre of the crowd. that took a use of his power to make sure his shots didn't miss, and he didn't want to use another charge just in case he was attacked from behind so now he began to rush toward Jinping, ready to finish the job at a close range. Maybe Ivan should thank Magnemesis afterwards, I mean, if it wasn't for the robot, then he wouldn't have been able to get his target, never mind just kidnapping the guy, there's also distracting his entire security detail, course now he was on a time limit before they all realized there was now a shooter somewhere in the plaza with Jinping at his whim.

Hah, all talk and no bite, this would be an easy rescue of the classic ‘Save the townspeople from imminent doom’ kinda deal, she’s faced worse. Mimi was, she had to be different than all those bright, glorious stars that formally made the ring of statues that were torn down relentlessly by this scrapheap, for she may be the dimmer of the bunch, but she would always be the last one standing, regardless of the enemies that stood in her way. She began to smile at the optimistic thought, becoming aware of her surroundings as metal screeched and groaned under the villainous monster’s influence, allowing Mimi to react faster then it could strike as she rolled out of the way of the thunderous metal reaching for her, a small strategy coming to mind as she used the momentum of her slide to make her way back on her feet and around the back of the creature. There were two options to choose from, using its strength against itself, or attacking it from the back and peeling every piece of metal off its seemingly unprotected behind, one by one.
Mimi chose the first option.
“You know, I don’t believe you kept up my terms for us to fight, you’re supposed to let these people go, CLOD!” She yelled from behind the oversized freak of nature, which if it was smart enough, it would realize she insulted its origins, and rightfully so.
Redstar was trying to get its attention from behind it, refusing to move around it once again unless the monster used its attack to go around itself and reach for her, completely sure that this excuse for a monster was far too primitive to think of a better method of attack- Mind you, unless it could turn its head around 360 degrees, then that uh, may be a problem in itself. Regardless she was already thinking of a counter-move, stab it, and THEN STAB IT UNTIL IT SHATTERS because that’s obviously that rational, smart thing to do in a situation like this. She was obviously going to win, that’s what superstars do, no, what Heroes do, and that’s what she was, a completely capable hero who could defeat anyone if she tried hard enough.
Except when guns were involved, the shots ringing through the air, distracting her as she first noted sanctuary, and then the girl behind her moving toward him at a speed that looked threatening, and not to mention the metal flying towards him.
She went loud. “WATCH OUT, 6 N’ 12!” She hoped that the gunshots were just figments of her imagination. She hoped that maybe her partner in all of this knew what 6 and 12 meant, clearly referring to clock positioning.
Meanwhile, she knew all too well the gunshots were real, and she had just allowed them to distract herself from the real problem, the giant metal beast trying to grab her. Maybe the monster would just throw her, her head swiftly back towards the location the supposed arm may or won’t attempt to grab her from. Or maybe when it grabbed her, It'd try to crush her, stars, she hoped the first option, this monster was too primitive to be smart enough to crush her, right? Right?
Regardless, she was ready for this, she was ready to fight!

Inside of the thundering shell Chisana rolled her eyes at the yammering coming from the small heroine in front of her. The fight had only just started and while the prospect of an uneven match was exciting even against the two unlikely heroes. The boy in the crowd showed some promise, managing to sever Magnemesis's arm and save the crowd. Looking at him now though she thought he might faint. Which left only one obstacle remaining. Whatever this girl could do, it must give her some confidence that she could stand on her own. Normally this may warrant a bit of caution, however, this constant chattering from her was making the battleground feel more like a playground. That was something that got on Chisana's nerves.
Before she could make a move though the air was filled with gunshots, after a moment's hesitation Chisana simply assumed it was the security detail firing away at her armor. The distraction seemed to be enough of an opportunity for the girl in red to slip behind Magnemesis. Did she really think that she could do anything to her creation with just a spear? It didn't matter, hopefully this would be nothing more than an opening act for a much grander battle.
"Tell me, what do you think you'll accomplish back there? Are you searching for a chink in my armor? Taking advantage of a blindspot perhaps?"
As Magnemesis spoke, Chisana reached out to the magnetic forces she had instilled in the severed hand of Magnemesis. Slowly the metal fingers began to twitch before lifting itself and crawling off the stage. Chisana grinned as the limb would continue to circle around just on the edge of her influence. The bulky fist would be right behind this brat before she even knew what was going on. All she had to do now was wait.
Magnemesis started to shift as the metal making it up began to roil. The underlying layers began shifting in opposite directions, making the Golem seem more like a sea of writhing metal. It's joints began to shift and switch. The head and glowing eye of the villain disappeared into the mass only to resurface once more, it's dim green light now close enough to be reflected in the heroine's eyes. The remaining arm swung back, it's joints now realigned, and hung menacingly over the hero.
"I don't have armor, I am armor. My form changes to suit my needs. Whatever advantage that you're searching for, I'd suggest you find quickly. Otherwise I may just bury you here with the rest of the fallen heroes."
Small slivers of metal began to prickle up and vibrate all over the body of Magnemesis, like tiny quills on a porcupine. The slivers began to float away and gather until the air around Magnemesis was filled with floating metal shards.
"That maneuver you performed early may prove costly it you attempt it again. Though I will say that calling you "girl" is getting quite bothersome. So tell me hero, by what name will the world know you?"
This fight was almost over, all Chisana had to do now was get the blabbermouth talking again. Once she did it'd be too late to escape, if she tried to retreat, she'd be literally leaping into Magnemesis's hand. If she stays she'll get clubbed by a fist that'd leave a truck hurting, and if she tried anything slippery again she'd be running through a floating cheese grater. She'll have no choice but to surrender, or finally show whatever power she's been hiding. Chisana couldn't lie, she was getting a little curious as to what let this girl hype herself up that much.

Wait, what happened?
For a moment, maybe even a split second, Xiao shut his eyes. He didn’t know if he was just blinking, or otherwise, but all he knew was that the resounding sound of a gunshot had just woken him right back up. How long had he fallen asleep for? How much had happened, what did he miss?
It took him a moment to realize that he had in fact only just blinked. Losing consciousness for mere seconds before the gunshots had roused him back up. Perfectly timed, as it were, because there was something here he wanted to do. Of course, any sane person would be keeping as far from this conflict as possible. But, just a moment ago, he’d caught sight of the sandwich thieving girl absolutely annihilating force-field guy’s groin with some kind of metal staff.
And why should he let her have all the fun, huh? First she steals his sandwich, then strikes a low blow after twirling? Absolutely not. Taking a moment to yawn, stretch out, slap himself awake (to little effect, possibly making himself sleepier in the process), he begins to trudge forwards. The timing for this was perfect as well, by the looks of things, seeing as Magnemesis was now telling off his target for her brazen foolishness in challenging this metallic monstrosity with a spear of all things.
Honestly, what was she thinking? That’d be like trying to dig out a concrete wall with a plastic spoon. Which is to say, next to no effect. Ah well, at least the spectacle of it all was more than distracting enough for the drowsing teen to get closer and closer. Thankfully, no one seemed to be paying much mind to him as he made his approach. Apparently moving like a zombie and being quiet about it worked great when no one was paying attention.
Redstar sure wasn’t paying any, it looked like she had her eyes firmly planted on Magnemesis, with her intentions seemingly affixed on trying to topple them.
Redstar? More like, Greenstar. What’s up with that? And why is her hair spinning? This Superstar’s really going above and beyond with the whole ‘look at me’ thing, making themselves stand out to such an extent. Didn’t anyone tell them how ugly of a colour lime green is? Someone ought to set the record straight.
Wait.
Never mind, false alarm, she isn’t green after all.
He was getting very close now, noticing that Magnemesis had splintered their armour into a hovering, protective shell. Not to mention that turbo fist had met its destination about the same time Xiao had. Man, how cool was that? They can bend metal like paper, move their body around like some kind of puppet master, they even had a cool voice to boot!
Speaking of cool, someone was imminently about to look much less cool. Still fueled by the inspiration of witnessing a man be thwacked in the nads, he rolled his shoulders, walking right passed the large metallic limb he’d been standing by for a split second, silently moving closer and closer to Redstar.
And in full view of a few people, including the big kahuna themselves, he reared back and aggressively slapped Redstar upside the head. Of course, this mightn’t have hurt as much as a slap from, say, some kind of actual strong person. No doubt being slapped in the back of the head would hurt, but that wasn’t the intention here.
This was all under the assumption that Redstar hadn’t somehow noticed him, of course. No doubt she was too fixated on Magnemesis to even consider turning around.
Boy he hoped so.
But, the intention here is, of course, Xiao’s mutation. A lot of people considered their mutations to be both blessings and curses, in Xiao’s case, he hated his mutation with a mildly spicy passion. He’d be inclined to call it a fiery passion, but feeling ‘fiery’ about anything is tough for him. Thankfully, in this case, he’d found a use that would be helpful in a situation outside of helping people sleep easier.
Skin to skin contact was required for it to work on other people, but, the concentration in his hands was more than thick enough to induce sleepiness and vivid hallucinations, a head of hair wouldn’t stop it all from colliding with their scalp, not by a long shot.
It wasn’t much, but, honestly? He didn’t like how mouthy this girl was. He’d seen a few Superstars in his lifetime, across the news and sometimes on the streets. Plenty of them were self-entitled and in it for the money, sure, but there were always a few that were in it to help the people. Like force-field guy over there is. Or rather, was, since he wasn’t sure if getting back up after a low-blow like that was going to be easy.
Speaking of low-blows, Xiao made sure to take a step back after delivering the solid smack, since he had a feeling he’d be run through and impaled with that spear for doing such a thing. This girl seemed the type to violently mutilate someone for hitting them, whether or not they were a citizen. This was a bold assumption at most, but the fact they were feverishly trying to beat down a metal man using a glorified washing pole wasn’t a good sign. Hey, he helped at least. He did something.
That definitely fulfilled his vandalism quota for the day, vandalizing the back of Redstar’s head. Now that he thought about it, maybe spraying her with that spray paint would help too? Then she’d actually be Greenstar.
With a continued lack of awareness of what was going on, he began digging through his bag to find the spray paint, going right back to being unaware of the situation at hand. Whatever works, he got what he wanted done.
He also was still dangerously close. That’s not good.

Most of the crowd that had been gathered in this once lovely location for a day of joy, had managed to escape the now battle torn landscape thanks to the on going skirmish. With most of the random civilians out of the way it was time for Io to try ajd assist the other Superstar putting up one loud fight with the giant clanker.
Dropping his shield and ready to make a break for the stage, Io was suddenly met with a most uncomfortable feeling down low that brought he himself low onto the ground. One hand holding himself up as his free right hand pulled his surgical mask down as he began to violently cough up blood, hacking as splats of blood covered the ground before him.
"Nuugh.. Fu..."
Unable to speak as he practically hacked up one of his lungs. Gritting his blood stained teeth, Io pulls his formerly white mask back over his face. His eyes were dark as he dragged himself back to standing again, looking directly at the women before him who clearly, just based on her shit eatting grin alone, was his culprit.
"Not very nice of you..."
He spoke like he was going to say more but he raised his right hand instead.
With just that un-needed gesture, a barrier about the same size as the female before him spawned into existence around her unless she is able to avoid the sudden spawning barrier. Regardless if he was able to actually capture her or not he remained standing in one spot, the sounds from around the battleground was enough to let him know that there were more active combatants in play then he would like to see.
"So... Whats up with this? All this chaos, whats the point?" In a rather deadpan toned voice he asks his aggressor. Still standing his ground more then ready to erect a barrier around himself if she tried to press an attack, sneak attacks were one thing, but trying to attack Io head on was a rough task since as his ability was so defensively oriented.

Even taking the cheap shots Jinpa was, she knew that she was ultimately irrelevant in the grand schemes of whatever this hulking golem was doing in the Yun District's favorite park. For all the crafty girl knew, she'd be up next on the chopping block after the chirpy girl with the two-handed toothpick and the pale barrier-wielder she was currently antagonizing. Whatever was going on, however, was totally better than Jinpa's original plan. Why deface a statue when you could just turn it into scrap? That was a serious power. Looking around for any sort of ally, not wanting to fully throw in her lot with the scary hunk of metal (no matter what camera crews or Superstars would report), Jinpa only saw one. A wiry man, bedhead, quite a lot taller than Jinpa herself. Even though he looked like a bum, something seemed familiar about him. Regardless if they had met before or not, it was worth showing off. Also an excuse to further herself from Sanctuary, who was more than certainly looking to retaliate, Jinpa cartwheeled into a series of back handsprings. When the girl felt she was far enough away, she flashed the crowd a peace sign. She didn't mean to make Sanctuary spit up blood, just give him a good thwacking, but any reaction was a good reaction, she supposed. It was still really gross, and the displeasure in her face was more than noticeable. His retribution didn't leave her smiling either, as with all her speed and agility, she still couldn't outrun a barrier the caliber of the one she found herself suddenly trapped in. Dropping all the grace and peppiness of her former pose, Jinpa wore a scowl as she kicked and thwacked at the inside of the bubble, to little effect. "You celebrate jokes like Monolith and you think I need any more reason than that? I hate them, and frankly I hate you. The entrance exam to becoming some government patsy joke like you all is signing your name in three different colors of crayon, take a pay cut, and a kick in the ass to pose for the cameras. Now let me outta here so I can take you down!"

"Freakshow." She hissed through her teeth, brows furrowed with cold, vicious irises.
Mimi held her weapon tightly as the beast spoke out and realigned itself, her body visibly tense, including her stare into the green, glowing abyss which she held with great determination, and anger. She was tempted to speak out against it, to find some flaw in it's sentence, but Mimi was all the while lost in her thoughts, her blabbering coming to an end easily and harmlessly. The monster however found itself on a endless set of monologues, Mimi rolling her own eyes as she waited for it to make some sort of move.
Yet out of the blue and completely unexpected, something slapped her across the head, dragging her out of her thoughts as she found herself nearly colliding head-first into a deadly mess of spikes. Utterly baffled that someone had taken a shot at her, her body began to feel the strain of keeping herself awake, colors and the weight of her eyelids all too apparent as she turned her head slowly to her aggressor, rubbing her head as she tiredly asked "...Why?" Before the beast spoke once again, her head turning back at the same speed as suddenly her opponent looked... Very, very threatening.
She wasn't sure she could do this anymore, she just wanted to sleep.
Why would... Why?
Mimi found herself very conflicted, but at the same time she was too tired to care, her brain function collecting itself slower and slower until she'd eventually pass out, but not yet. Mimi wasn't done, and as she yawned loudly, either to mock or out of a compulsive need to, she found her new 'effect' was giving her all the information she needed. The beast's eye was becoming a massive eyesore to her eyes to be more specific, especially with all the colors surrounding it.
Maybe it was time to amputate.
As the beast asked for her name, Mimi shrugged.
Before the hand behind her threatened to grasp her, she launched up toward Magnemesis's supposed head with the help of the spikes provided, her spear focused on penetrating through the glass of the headlight and using it to anchor her spear so she could cause more damage by effectively digging it into the supposed eye's socket, since Mimi remembered something about the brain being nearby in about any living organism, or was that only toads? She didn't care to remember.
But, what about the spikes?
Mimi felt them as it ripped through her rubber boots and gloves, and in truth, she didn't care about the pain anymore, she was too tired to care as she basically used her legs, hands and feet as yet another anchor, the spikes penetrating her skin even as it healed quickly. It was amazing what she could do when the power of sleep powered the will of suggestion, even if it was hurting like hell.
If her aim had actually succeeded, she would use her spear to effectively dig into the machine's body through the eye socket, trying to cut off the damn light.
If her aim had failed, she would find herself falling back against the platform as her body moved to heal her injuries, her spear still in her softening grip. At least she tried.

Chisana wasn't quite sure what had just happened. One moment she was were seconds from victory, The small girl was practically sitting in Magnemesis's grasp. Then in the next, a person from the crowd had stepped up onto the stage. It was hard to tell just how tall he was from the horrible slouch that he wore. The guy made her feel exhausted just looking at him. The speeches that she had in mind, the grand plan to garner infamy, the hero in the claws of Magnemesis. All of that vanished from her mind as the image of this tired man, very abruptly, applying his hand to the back of the heroine's head.
Chisana was stunned, even moreso when a commotion in the crowd caught her attention. Looking over she could see that the hero who had been creating the force fields was now using his abilities on one of the members of said crowd. A girl, from the looks of it, she seemed to be giving the hero a piece of her mind. What had these heroes done to turn the crowd against them so quickly? Honestly Chisana was baffled. So much so that Magnemesis's shoulders started to slump a little, the girl's own confusion evident in her hulking creation.
The sound of stumbling feet on the stage brought her back to the battle at hand. The once loud and proud heroine was now stumbling around the stage like a common drunk. What he hell was wrong with everyone?
"Uh..."
Oh no, she didn't just say "um" out loud did she?! What kind of villain goes UM. Chisana mentally scolded herself as she pulled on her hair. This was supposed to be her debut! and she was racking her brain trying to understand what was happening. Whatever, it didn't matter, she still had the girl right where she wanted her. slowly Magnemesis refocused and raised it's massive fist to finish the hero, just in time for a spear to pierce the head of Magnemesis.
no input
The words burned across the inside of Chisana's mask. Rage crept it's way up from her chest, tying itself into a knot in her head. Not caring if the microphone was on Chisana screamed in anger. The voice modulator warped the girl's hate into a monstrous roar bellowing forth from the metal the beast. Magnemesis hunched over, a wave of motion traveling through it's body in a rapid pulses, each wave expanding farther away from the golem. slowly a vortex of shrapnel began to form around the villain.
Inside the protective inner shell Chisana grit her teeth with tears streaming down her face. She was winning, everything was working. Now she sat in the darkened interior, completely blind to the outside world.
