As it stood, Fallon had finally amassed a little bit of publicity. Not very much, mind you. But, he'd been seen around enough in his times spent outside in his costume, with his emperor-esque persona worn around the general public, he'd finally gotten a small stack of letters sitting on his kitchen counter he'd been waiting on for a while now.
Which is to say, the offers from sponsors. Finally, he'd be able to get into the meat of his job.
There were only about four letters in total, all from well varying companies. One from a small corporation that mostly produces alcoholic beverages, a large game development studio, not to mention a designer clothing brand and a humble snack company. All with weirdly varying offers in terms of price. Simonelle, the clothing brand, had presented to him the highest offer. Though, he did pick up on something about most of these, was just how impersonal they were.
The games studio had just filled half of their letter with propaganda for their latest release and references he didn't even get half of, and he wasn't even old enough to try the samples the beverage company had sent him along with their letter, nor did he really want to (his mother happily obliged though). He'd only skimmed over the offer he'd received from Simonelle, but the last one stood out. It was different from the others, seeing as it was seemingly written by the head of the company, with an apparent amount of personal effort put into it.
The offer was the lowest of them all, by an enormous margin. He almost considered passing it up then and there, but he couldn't tear himself away from the way it had been written. In fact the woman who'd written it had offered to meet him in a Cafe for a meeting, which already appealed quite a bit to him. Both in the means of convenience and comfort. Since he didn't need to write a letter back to them, nor did he need to sit around in some snooty office waiting for the employer in question to see him.
He still wasn't sure on the offer, seeing as the others did pay quite a lot more. But, it was worth meeting with them at the very least. They'd shown a bit more in the ways of effort when they'd sent their offer, that in itself deserved a bit of respect.
Getting there early was probably for the best, since he had no idea what this woman looked like. She'd probably recognise him easily enough, even if he wasn't in costume. Though speaking of which, he wasn't sure whether or not to wear it.
Ah, he'd be fine without it today. He didn't need any bits of extra attention, not today at least. He didn't need to be getting all worn down by unnecessary attention when he was meeting with a possible sponsor.
Either way, he went about getting ready for this meeting, rummaging around for clothes to wear.
He didn't have much to choose from, opting for a pair of jeans and a polo shirt instead of anything too fancy. Not that he had anything fancy to begin with, though. Having already gotten the rest of his morning routine out of the way, he set off to the arranged destination.
It was a nice change of pace, actually. Seeing as he was mostly outside in costume now. Though, he wasn't really recognised as anyone in particular, he could practically feel the passing stares of people burning holes in his body. ...Not to mention the people that would approach him, asking for pictures and all that.
But, once again, it was something for him to get used to. This was the lifestyle of a Superstar, after all.
One fifteen minute walk later, and he'd arrived at the place that had been arranged. It was out of the way, kinda quiet. Not a bad choice, overall. Not to mention Fallon had gotten here around ten minutes early, so he'd have plenty of time to find a seat and get comfy while he waited. Being early was better than being late, after all. He'd made sure to get a seat outside too, just so he'd be recognised by them quicker. He didn't order anything just yet either, figuring it'd be better to wait.
What a day this was going to be. He wasn't sure what to expect, but despite his hesitance on this offer, he wanted to hear them out at the least. He'd brought his offer letters with him as well, just in case.
They'd show up soon, he just knew it.
